CohnReznick Adds Tax Partner
CohnReznick recently announced the addition of Bernadette Daniel, CPA, MT as a partner in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic Region Tax Practice and as a member of the Affordable Housing Industry Practice. In her new role, Daniel will focus on serving clients in Baltimore and expanding CohnReznick’s presence in the Philadelphia area. She has more than 30 years of tax experience in the areas of real estate, not-for-profits, affordable housing, low income housing tax credits and historic tax credits. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University and a Masters in Taxation from Villanova University.

CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities Expands Renewable Energy Team
CohnReznick Capital Markets Securities, LLC has added three new members to its renewable energy team: Nick Sangermano, Adrian Ruiz and Michael Tatarsky. Sangermano will lead CohnReznick Cap Markets’ efforts to further support its corporate clients’ needs for capital. He has more than 15 years of investment experience leading and structuring private equity and debt capital raises in the renewable energy industry. Sangermano earned an MBA from McGill University and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Ruiz and Tatarsky are banking professionals from Santander’s asset and capital structuring team and have significant cash and tax equity investment experience.

WeiserMazars Expands Practice
WeiserMazars LLP recently  announced that Barry Goodman has joined the firm as a partner in the Financial Services Practice. Goodman will be responsible for overseeing the group’s broker dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, funds of funds and closed-end mutual funds, helping them manage their middle and back offices. He has more than 22 years of accounting, auditing and taxation experience. Goodman received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Science in Taxation from Baruch College.

Rehmann Principal Named COO
Rehmann recently named Stacie Kwaiser, CPA as its new Chief Operating Officer. Kwaiser has been with the firm for 19 years and has served on Rehmann’s audit and assurance executive committee, its Women in Networking council and been active in mentoring emerging leaders. Kwaiser graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

PwC Announces New Managing Director and Process Assurance Leader in Deals Practice
PwC US recently announced the appointment of David Ethridge to managing director in the firm’s Deals practice and U.S. IPO Services leader and Julianne Inozemcev, CPA to Process Assurance Leader for Risk Assurance. Ethridge has more than 25 years of experience helping clients with equity markets, IPOs, convertibles and PIPEs. Ethridge received a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics from Davidson College.

Inozemcev has more than 20 years of experience in financial and IT audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She received her bachelor’s degree in business economics with an accounting emphasis from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Ryan Acquires TransAmerican Asset Servicing Group, LLC
Ryan recently acquired TransAmerican Asset Servicing Group, LLC, which specializes in providing abandoned and unclaimed property expertise and search and location services for leading financial institutions and other major corporations. The acquisition will drive the continued growth of Ryan’s rapidly expanding AUP Search and Location business and add service capabilities and market share to its AUP practice.



Grant Thornton Adds Former OMB Executive to Public Sector Practice
Grant Thornton LLP recently added David J. Haun as a director in its Global Public Sector practice. Haun has more than 35 years of experience in federal agency leadership. He received a master’s degree in city and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in administrative management from Clemson University.

Partners and Staff of Joel Popkin & Company Join Citrin Cooperman
Citrin Cooperman recently announced that the partners and staff of Joel Popkin & Company have joined the firm, bringing approximately 25 new professionals to Citrin Cooperman. This merger also makes Citrin Cooperman one of the largest accounting practices in restaurant and hospitality services in the United States. Roy Tumpowsky will join Nick Florio and Stacy Gilbert as co-chairs of the restaurant and hospitality practice.

Yeo & Yeo Computer Consulting Announces Several Staff Promotions and Additions
Yeo & Yeo Computer Consulting recently announced the promotions of Andrew J. Licht, CPA to manager; Lisa M. Hubbell to senior accountant; Christopher M. Sheridan, CPA to senior accountant; and Rachel Van Slembrouck to senior accountant and the addition of Joe Smith as a senior systems engineer.
