Sorren is the latest top 50 accounting firm to expand into legal services, as it announced Tuesday the launch of an affiliated law firm called Sorren Law.

The Meridian, ID-based firm says Sorren Law is a “legal services practice designed to help businesses, investors, and individuals navigate complex legal matters with practical guidance and a broader advisory perspective.”

Sorren Law is now available to serve clients in Nevada, Idaho, and Texas, with further national expansion planned for the coming year, Sorren said.

The affiliated law firm provides legal counsel for clients managing growth, protecting assets, planning for the future, evaluating transactions, addressing disputes, and making decisions with long-term business, family, and financial implications. Services include business and corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning and probate, asset protection, tax planning and trusts, nonprofit and public-sector legal support, civil litigation, construction litigation, contract review, risk management, and dispute resolution.

“Clients are often making legal decisions that connect directly to their business, financial, tax, ownership, and family goals,” Sorren CEO Josh Tyree said in a statement on Sept. 22. “Sorren Law gives clients access to practical legal guidance while staying connected to advisors who understand their broader picture. Our goal is to help clients make clearer decisions, protect what they’ve built, and move forward with confidence.”

Sorren Law is the former Mansfield & Mayo, a law firm led by attorneys Patrick Mansfield and Massey Mayo with offices in Eagle, ID, and Winnemucca, NV.

“Protecting what clients have built takes more than isolated advice,” Mansfield said in a statement. “Whether a client is growing a company, planning for succession, preserving wealth, managing risk, or responding to a legal challenge, Sorren Law is designed to provide practical guidance connected to their goals.”

Sorren is following in the footsteps of Big Four accounting firm KPMG and top 25 firm Aprio, which established affiliated law firms KPMG Law and Aprio Legal, respectively, in early 2025.
