Financial decision intelligence platform MindBridge unveiled new capabilities designed to strengthen financial oversight as artificial intelligence and automation take on more work across finance and audit.

The capabilities introduced combine full-population analysis and explainability with connected workflows and governed agentic capabilities.

Les Rechan

“Customers are telling us they want AI to reduce complexity, not create more of it,” MindBridge CEO Les Rechan said in a statement on Sept. 23. “They need technology that fits the way their teams work, helps them understand what requires attention, and keeps people in control of the decisions they are accountable for. That is the principle behind what we are introducing.”

The announcements include:

More connected oversight for enterprise finance

With Financial Close Oversight and Spend Integrity Oversight, MindBridge’s new experience provides continuous financial oversight that integrates seamlessly into the systems and workflows businesses are already using, making it easier for finance teams to move from risk detection to investigation and governed action.

Agentic Risk Assessment for audit and assurance

MindBridge says it’s extending its Augmented Assurance proposition earlier into the audit lifecycle with an evidence-linked, methodology-aligned risk assessment experience. The Agentic Risk Assessment capability connects evidence, analytics, assertions, materiality, and methodology to help auditors make faster, better supported, and more defensible audit planning decisions. Designed to integrate with customer-built and third-party workpaper solutions and agentic workflows, ARA brings MindBridge risk intelligence into existing audit workflows while preserving auditor judgment and control.

Governed, agent-guided analysis design

MindBridge is also previewing Analysis Designer Agent, a new capability that helps users configure analyses for new objectives and datasets. Users can describe what they want to analyze, while an agent evaluates data suitability, recommends appropriate scoring methods, and develops the required configuration. The approach is designed to reduce setup complexity while maintaining governance and expert oversight.

Financial insights within customers’ AI workflows

MindBridge’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server enables users to access MindBridge through compatible AI assistants, bringing financial oversight to the tools they already use. Users can ask questions about analysis results, explore identified risks, and understand the signals behind them without switching applications. This connection extends MindBridge’s analytical capabilities into more workflows while keeping access governed by users’ MindBridge permissions.

For enterprise finance teams, MindBridge provides Autonomous Financial Oversight to help organizations govern financial integrity as automation expands. For audit and assurance firms, Augmented Assurance combines full-population analysis and explainable risk detection with auditor expertise to strengthen assurance while keeping professional judgment with the auditor.
