Plante Moran is headed back to Mexico—the top 15 U.S. firm has added Guadalajara-based accounting firm JA Del Río in a deal expected to close on July 1.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. JA Del Río’s 500-plus team members across Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica will join Plante Moran’s existing Mexico team. The Southfield, MI-based firm has an office in Monterrey.
This is Plante Moran’s first M&A deal in 2026. Last year, the firm merged with Wakefield, MA-based accounting firm Tonneson + Co.
