H.J. Russell & Company Hires New Chief Financial Officer
H.J. Russell & Company recently announced the hiring of Mitchell Powell, CPA as the new Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Powell will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling the company’s financial matters. He has more than 10 years of experience serving in senior leadership roles. Powell graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and his Master of Science degree in real estate from New York University.

Grant Thornton Adds New Director
Grant Thornton LLP recently announced that Satish Gattadahalli has joined as a director in its Public Sector practice. In his new role, Gattadahalli will help develop and expand Grant Thornton’s health informatics and digital health capabilities. He has nearly 30 years of strategic IT management experience in government and private-sector healthcare. His accomplishments include developing, implementing and governing multiple health information technology transformation initiatives for the Veterans Health Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs, contributing to the creation of industry standards for health informatics and the development of the Federal Health Architecture,  and helping to establish Health Level-7, or HL7, a set of international standards for transfer of clinical and administrative data between software applications used by healthcare providers. Gattadahalli received a master’s degree in computer systems management from the University of Maryland University College and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University.

Mazars USA Grows Tax Practice
Mazars USA LLP today announced that Tifphani White-King has joined the firm as a partner in the International Tax Practice. White-King has nearly 20 years of experience leading teams and providing tax and consulting services to international companies in the insurance, financial, private equity, investment funds and media and technology industries. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law.

Intacct Employees Recognized on CRN’s 2017 Women of the Channel List
Intacct recently announced that Stephanie Kleber, Director, Intacct Channel & Sales Enablement, Maeve Naughton, Senior Partner Marketing Programs Manager, Linda Kolker, Senior Channel Executive and Susan Vincent, Director, Intacct Partner Services were named on CRN’s 2017 Women of the Channel list. Women of the Channel honorees are selected by CRN editors based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Kleber has been recognized for five consecutive years by CRN. She manages numerous initiatives at Intacct designed to enhance the company’s channel and direct-hybrid strategy and has been instrumental in helping to transform Intacct’s partner sales and marketing capabilities.

Naughton was also an honoree in 2016. She oversees programs aimed at helping to accelerate Marketing initiatives at partner practices.

Vincent has been recognized for two consecutive years by CRN. She has led her team in coordinating knowledge-sharing sessions and vertical programs with partners to accelerate and improve their Intacct practices.

Kolker is being recognized for the first time, which also coincides with her first year Intacct. In her role as Senior Channel Executive, Kolker is responsible for helping her partners grow and achieve their goals.

CohnReznick Hires New Lead of Private Client Services
CohnReznick LLP recently announced the appointment of Stephanie H. Pervez, JD to lead its Private Client Services Practice. Pervez has more than 17 years of experience working with entrepreneurs, executives and wealthy individuals on tax and financial matters, such as alternative investments, domestic and foreign entities, and trusts. Her expertise includes federal and state tax consulting and compliance for individuals, partnerships, fiduciaries, estates, charitable organizations, family wealth transfer and estate planning. Pervez received her JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree in Philosophy from University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
