New cloud-based service management and dispatch system for contractors

Dexter + Chaney has released a new, web-based service management solution for contractors that includes features for work order management and service dispatch.

Dexter + Chaney has released a new, web-based service management solution for contractors that includes features for work order management and service dispatch. This new service management software works seamlessly with the company’s Spectrum Construction Software suite and works completely in the cloud, requiring no software download or specific hardware devices.

“Contractors with a large service component to their business need information delivered fast to a mobile, dispersed and diverse work force,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney president. “Spectrum’s new Service Management application fulfills this need because it has been designed as true cloud-based software. Managers, dispatchers and technicians can connect to the full set of service-management features wherever they are, using any device with a web browser.”

Spectrum Service Management includes full service request processing, dispatching and work order management features. “All features of Spectrum Service Management work together,” said Geoff Falk, Spectrum product manager. “Information that begins with a service request or planned maintenance call is carried through to the dispatching and work order management applications.

“Managers have immediate visibility into customer and service call history; dispatchers can create, prioritize and schedule service calls all from one screen, and technicians can process work orders directly from the field. Customers can even be invoiced automatically when work is complete.”
