Marks Paneth & Shron Names New Partner and Principals
Marks Paneth & Shron LLP recently announced the appointment of Dawn Rhodes, CPA to partner and Paul Bercovici, LL.B. and Josefina Tranfa-Abboud, Ph.D. to principal. Rhodes specializes in real estate, high net worth individuals, estates and trusts, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations.  Rhodes graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a bachelor of science in accounting and received her master of science degree in accounting from Binghamton University.

Bercovici has experience with foreign and domestic corporations. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association and the International Tax Institute. Bercovici received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor.

Tranfa-Abboud works as an expert witness for plaintiffs and defendants performing research, statistical analysis and damages analysis. She also provides economic consulting services to corporate clients. Tranfa-Abboud graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and received her Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University.

Decosimo Selects New Principal
Decosimo CPA recently promoted Patrick Terry, CPA to assurance principal. Terry has more than 20 years of leadership experience in public accounting working with international, regional and local firms in various industries. Terry graduated from Kennesaw State University and currently serves on the university’s advisory board for the accounting school.
