The American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is bringing together leading tax experts and policymakers at its annual National Tax Conference to examine some of the most consequential issues shaping the tax landscape, including the responsible and ethical use of AI, AI’s growing impact on the profession, digital assets, new tax rules affecting gambling, Trump Accounts and savings strategies, and Opportunity Zones.
National Taxpayer Advocate Erin Collins will provide an update on key issues facing taxpayers and practitioners, and AICPA experts will provide the latest insights from Washington during a live Washington Tax Brief.
For the first time, the conference will also feature a Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) Case Resolution Room, giving practitioners an opportunity to meet privately with a TAS case advocate to discuss client circumstances, ask questions and explore potential paths toward resolution.
