Accountaneur Advisory has introduced TrueCAS, a new online, AI-assisted engine built for CPA and accounting firm owners who do client advisory services work and can’t understand why it’s not selling.
The tool X-rays how a firm’s website positions advisory versus compliance, scores it out of 100, and returns a plain-language read of what a first-time CAS-fit visitor actually sees.
The analytics and recommendations system grew out of a pattern Accountaneur CEO Hitendra Patil kept seeing across firms. The firm does the work a business client values most, such as the late call before a big decision or the deep read on a set of numbers nobody else caught, but none of it appears clearly anywhere on the firm’s website. A prospective client lands on the site, sees the same standard, compliance-first words every firm in the county leads with, assumes the firm is a compliance shop, and then prices it like one.
“Often, when a firm owner notices that advisory prospects are choosing someone else, the solution has actually been right on their homepage for years,” Patil said in a statement on Oct. 19. “The TrueCAS™system offers owners a quick, buyer’s perspective of their own website, usually within about a minute, giving the firm owners a great chance to fix any issues early on.”
In about a minute, the TrueCAS system analyzes the parts of a website a buyer forms an impression from: positioning language, how visible advisory is, client outcomes, niche clarity, the reason to call, and price posture. According to Patil, every firm that runs TrueCAS gets:
- A CAS positioning score out of 100, with the band it falls in.
- A signal-by-signal read of what the website communicates.
- The single move worth building first, and a 90-day move to start the next day.
TrueCAS™ system is AI-powered, and the page says so clearly rather than hiding it. Patil spent a year teaching the AI tool what two decades of advising CPA and CAS firms taught him about advisory positioning, so it X-rays a site the way he would.
“A tool can read what you put on the page. It cannot read the judgment you never wrote down, which is exactly why so much of it is missing from firm websites in the first place,” Patil said.
Firms that want more deeper work can move up to a full Report, or to a Blueprint that adds rewritten copy and a 90-day build plan. The Blueprint grades the site against Patil’s TRUE Advisor framework and hands back three fixes drawn from his two books—and each one names the book and chapter it came from. Every quote in the grade gets checked word for word against the firm’s own website before it reaches the PDF. If the site never said it, it doesn’t get quoted, Patil says.
The Report and the Blueprint are built to order and arrive by email, usually within the hour.
“I would rather a firm owner argue with something their own homepage actually says than nod along at a guess. So the tool shows its work, down to the sentence it read off the site and the chapter where the fix comes from,” Patil added.
Patil stresses that the TrueCAS result is a diagnostic, not a verdict.
“A low score does not mean the firm is bad at advisory. It almost always means nobody has made the decision to put that work on the website homepage clearly yet,” he said. “That is a fixable problem, and usually a smaller one than the dread around it.”
Firm owners can run a TrueCAS scan on their own website, and vendors to CPAs can run it on a prospect firm’s site before a first conversation. More information can be found here.
