Top 50 accounting firm Sorren has added Persing Professional Group and Carefree Professional Practice Resources, further expanding its presence in Nevada and adding specialized expertise in key growth areas.
Financial terms of the deals weren’t disclosed.
Meridian, ID-based Sorren has made four other M&A deals in 2026, adding Casey Neilon, Hess & Rohmer, Connected Accounting, and Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn.

Sorren said Thursday that the addition of both firms enhances its presence across northern Nevada, complementing the firm’s existing offices in Reno and Carson City while adding new depth in healthcare, professional services, and entrepreneurial business advisory.
“Together, the firms bring established market relationships, specialized knowledge, and experienced professionals that strengthen Sorren’s ability to serve clients throughout the region,” Sorren said in a media release.
PPG, based in Reno, provides tax, accounting, consulting, succession planning, cash flow management, and CFO advisory services to privately held businesses and their owners.
The firm serves a diverse client base across healthcare, construction, and service-related industries.
CPPR, also based in Reno, is a specialized tax and accounting firm serving dental practices and dental professionals.
According to Sorren, the firm has become a trusted advisor to dentists seeking guidance on the financial, tax, and operational challenges unique to their profession.
