UHY says the combination with MICFO further enhances its CAS practice by adding experienced CFO-level talent and expanding the firm’s ability to provide clients with scalable financial leadership and business insight. The MICFO team will transition to UHY and continue serving existing clients while leveraging UHY’s national platform, industry expertise, and broad service capabilities, the firm added.

“As entrepreneurs navigate increasing complexity, they need strategic financial insight that can help them make confident decisions and accelerate growth,” UHY CEO Steven McCarty said in a statement on Aug. 11. “Business owners have trusted MICFO to help them do that. Our CAS practice is growing rapidly and the team from MICFO complement this service tremendously.”
Since its founding in 2006, MICFO has helped growing businesses access experienced financial leadership without the cost of a full-time executive team. The company has provided services that include strategic planning, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, operational improvement initiatives, and executive financial guidance.
“We are excited to join a firm that shares our commitment to helping clients grow and succeed,” Todd Rammler, founder and president of Michigan CFO Associates, said in a statement. “Our team has always focused on delivering practical financial leadership that helps business owners and executives make better decisions. By combining with UHY, we gain access to a broader platform of resources, specialized expertise, and national capabilities that will allow us to bring even greater value to our clients while preserving the relationships and personalized approach that have defined our success.”
