IRIS Software Group Appoints Surya Sagi as Company’s First Chief Data and AI Officer
IRIS Software Group (IRIS), a leading global software provider of accountancy, payroll, HR, and education solutions, recently announced the appointment of Surya Sagi as its first Chief Data and AI Officer, effective immediately.
Sagi brings more than 30 years of experience building data and AI platforms, scaling cloud-native SaaS businesses, and leading M&A and platform integration across SMB, enterprise, and regulated environments. His track record of building and scaling platforms has helped customers achieve better outcomes while accelerating growth and strengthening governance. He most recently founded ARKA AI and ARKA Advisors, helping enterprises successfully transition from AI experimentation to governed, outcome-driven implementation. Prior to that, Sagi served as Chief Technology Officer at Pitney Bowes.
Sagi will oversee IRIS’ global enterprise data and AI strategy, including data governance and the company’s responsible AI framework. Building on IRIS’ existing AI momentum, he will focus on scaling proven capabilities, strengthening responsible practices, delivering measurable business outcomes, and unlocking the highest-impact opportunities across products, managed services transformation, growth and retention. He will also join the company’s AI Steering Committee and Business Systems Architecture Review board to help ensure a consistent and strategic approach to AI across the organization.
Schneider Downs Announces New Members to Leadership Team
PITTSBURGH, PA – Schneider Downs & Co. (Schneider Downs), one of the 60 largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, recently announced the addition of new shareholders to its leadership team. The firm also announces the addition of one new partner to its affiliate, Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors, LP.
The new promotions reach across multiple areas of the firm’s service offerings as well as the growing wealth management practice. Included among those promoted to Shareholder and Partner at Schneider Downs are:
Kristyn Stang, CPA joined Schneider Downs in 2015 and has extensive experience serving consolidated corporations, with deep knowledge of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and multi-state engagements. In addition to compliance services, she has supported clients through tax planning and complex research projects, including mergers and acquisitions. Kristyn earned her B.S. in Accounting and Business Management from Carlow University and her M.S. in Fraud and Forensics, also from Carlow University.
Timothy Wolfgang, CISA, CCSFP, CISSP, QSA joined the firm in 2015 and brings a broad base of audit and IT knowledge to the Risk Advisory Services practice serving clients ranging from large organizations to growing businesses. Tim is a leader within the firm’s SOC reporting practice, PCI and financial services group, and he has significant experience auditing Microsoft Windows, Linux, SQL and Oracle platforms. He also plays a leadership role in the firm’s cloud infrastructure and security practice, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Tim received his B.A. in Economics from Marietta College.
James Moyer, CFP®, MBA has been in the financial services industry since 2013 after serving as a member of the Air National Guard (USAF) and joined Schneider Downs Wealth Management Advisors in 2018. Specializing in asset allocation, portfolio construction and financial planning, James helps clients create investment strategies tailored to their specific goals and objectives. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and his Master of Business Administration from Slippery Rock University. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duquesne University.
In addition to these leadership additions, the firm also promoted six employees to director, 16 new senior managers and 23 managers across the firm’s practices and departments.
Cindy Sutton joins CohnReznick as Partner and Chief People & Culture Officer
CohnReznick, a leading professional services firm, recently announced that Cindy Sutton has joined the firm as Partner and Chief People & Culture Officer.
In this role, Sutton will lead the firm’s people and culture strategy, with a focus on enhancing employee experience, talent development, and organizational performance. She brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, most recently as Managing Director, HR at a global professional services firm.
