King Charles Has Paid £30 Million in Taxes Since 2022

The announcement is part of "the Royal Household's commitment to transparency," according to Buckingham Palace.

King Charles III has revealed that he has paid over 30 million pounds (35 million euros) in taxes since his accession to the throne in Great Britain in September 2022.

The announcement is part of “the Royal Household’s commitment to transparency,” according to Buckingham Palace. 

Prince William, Charles’s eldest son and heir to the throne, has in turn paid over 20 million pounds (23 million euros) in taxes since early September 2022, when he became Prince of Wales upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
