Top 15 accounting firm Crowe on Oct. 9 announced the launch of Crowe Studio, a new business unit dedicated to helping clients scale smarter, transform faster, and lead in a platform-driven economy.

Crowe Studio is designed to develop, launch, and scale high-impact solutions within new, global business models, powered by artificial intelligence capabilities. The firm says it’s a venture-style approach to building AI-native, outcome-focused businesses and solutions that address the evolving needs of CFOs, chief information officers, and other business leaders.

The new business unit gives clients access to cross-disciplinary innovation, embedded AI capabilities, and global delivery resources, Crowe says.

“Our clients are under pressure to transform—not incrementally, but fundamentally,” said Crowe CEO Steven Strammello said in a statement. “Crowe Studio is our answer to that challenge. It enables us to work alongside our clients to deliver platform-native, tech-powered solutions that go beyond advice. We’re helping our clients move with urgency, unlock efficiency, and scale with confidence in a rapidly changing market.”

Crowe Studio will debut with three flagship offerings:

  • Crowe Y-Hire: A managed hiring model that leverages AI agents and global delivery to help organizations scale knowledge worker capacity without traditional recruitment cycles or fixed headcount models. It provides a flexible, recurring solution to fill critical skill gaps quickly and efficiently.
  • Crowe AI Transformation: A full-service offering for organizations looking to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI initiatives. This solution draws on Crowe’s proprietary IP, industry expertise, and strategic technology partnerships to help clients accelerate AI adoption and integration.
  • Crowe Tax AI: An AI-native service reshaping how tax functions operate—and how Crowe delivers them. Designed to reduce risk, enable predictive planning, and preserve expert oversight, this offering reflects Crowe’s own transformation journey in reimagining tax operations from the inside out.

The firm says that Crowe Studio’s mission is to simplify the path to transformation by offering global, scalable, repeatable solutions that reduce reliance on manual staffing and legacy delivery approaches. Each offering is designed to meet clients where they are and move them toward more agile, tech-enabled operating models that work at a global scale.

“Crowe Studio is built to help clients get out of the pilot trap and into scalable execution,” said John Epperson, managing principal of Crowe Studio. “We’re designing solutions that embed AI, automate intelligently, and create lasting business value. Our goal is to help clients disrupt from within, using our tools to modernize how they work, deliver, and grow without being limited by outdated, legacy business practices.”

In addition to its client-facing mission, Crowe Studio will use its capabilities to build new business models, assess operational risk, scale global delivery, and reimagine how value is created and delivered across Crowe.

“Our own firm is not immune to disruption,” Strammello said. “The pace of change and the levels of investment we’re seeing in our industry will drastically alter what the accounting and consulting profession looks like in just five years. Crowe Studio is our commitment to lead that transformation from the inside out—redefining how we deliver value to both our clients and our people. It also strengthens our position as a destination of choice for top global talent and the technology partners shaping the future of our profession.”

Crowe said it views Crowe Studio as a long-term transformation and self-disruption engine for the firm and the clients it serves, with a growing pipeline of platform-native offerings planned beyond the initial launch.
