Stambaugh Ness Acquires Left Brain Professionals in Ohio
The deal enhances Stambaugh Ness’s position as a top services provider for the architecture and engineering industry.

Top 200 accounting firm Stambaugh Ness has acquired Left Brain Professionals, a Westerville, OH-based accounting and advisory firm serving government contractors, effective April 1.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. In conjunction with the acquisition, Stambaugh Ness has launched an Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) for Government Contractors practice area. Left Brain Professionals founder Robert Jones will lead as director of the practice, which will offer a comprehensive range of services, including operational support, CFO and controller advisory services, and DCAA-compliant accounting system services.
The acquisition of Left Brain Professionals enhances York, PA-based Stambaugh Ness’s position as a premier services provider for the architecture and engineering industry. The firm currently serves more than 1,400 architecture and engineering clients across all 50 states, with team members in 25-plus states and internationally.
The addition of Left Brain Professionals also complements Stambaugh Ness’s Government Contract Services practice area, which includes a team of experienced and uniquely qualified experts.
