Nina Desai focuses on R&D tax credits in Bennett Thrasher’s Credits and Incentives practice. Her experience includes helping claim tax credits for clients of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500. Nina earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) and her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University.

DiAndria “Dee” Green supports clients in all aspects of sales tax compliance in the firm’s State and Local Tax practice, which includes implementing and managing a sales tax compliance automation process using tax software. DiAndria earned her Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), a Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and a Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Boston University.

Dane Harris leads the firm’s efforts in Texas and surrounding markets, with a focus on private equity advisory and transaction advisory services. Dane earned his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University and his Master of International Business from Munich Business School in Munich, Germany.

Ray Lee specializes in IT internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting, with over 14 years of experience in his role in the firm’s Risk Advisory Services practice. Ray earned his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Emory University and his Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University.

Gabe Rivers focuses on providing income tax planning and tax compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and families, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and private foundations.Gabe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.

Brian Sengson specializes in multistate tax planning, with an emphasis on sales and use, income and franchise, and transfer taxes in Bennett Thrasher’s Transaction Advisory Services group. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science (Business) from Lee University and his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University.

Chris Tomaselli focuses on providing timely financial and operational visibility and control for high growth companies through a combination of business transformation services in Bennett Thrasher’s Outsourced Accounting Practice.Chris earned his Bachelor of Science (Accountancy) and Master of Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.

Nathan Wechsler & Company Managing Director Elected a Corporator

The regional accounting firm of Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA recently announced that Oreste “Rusty” Mosca, CPA was recently elected a corporator for Franklin Bankcorp, MHC.

Franklin Bankcorp, MHC is comprised of Franklin Savings Bank and Independence Financial Advisors. In this role, Mosca is part of group of corporators who are responsible for electing trustees and approving changes to the by-laws, among other responsibilities.

Mosca joined Nathan Wechsler & Company in 1987 and currently serves as the firm’s Managing Director. In his practice, he provides accounting and audit services to the construction and non-profit sectors. A graduate of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, Mosca holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA).

Kobes Joins CohnReznick as Managing Director, Value360 – Transactional Advisory  

 CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, recently announced that Laura Kobes has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Value360 – Transaction Advisory Services practice. Based in Virginia, Kobes will focus on leading and growing the firm’s dedicated Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) Advisory practice and on M&A dispute capabilities, both as the neutral arbitrator and as an advisor to buyers and sellers.

Kobes’ experience in transaction forensics, investigations, and compliance includes providing industry-leading service advising clients on deal pricing mechanisms and accounting- and financial-related aspects of SPAs.

Before joining CohnReznick, Kobes was a leader in the Transaction Forensics practice and Senior Manager for a Big 4 firm.  She earned her BS in Commerce (Accounting Concentration) from The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and the District of Columbia and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
