CPAs shared their personal experiences, the best part of their jobs, what an “average” day looks like, and the diverse opportunities that accompany a CPA license.

“CPAs have always been vital to the success of their clients or organization,” said INCPAS Director – Diversity & Outreach Ali Paul, CAE. “But over the past year in particular, their value as trusted business advisors was underscored. These presentations are a great way for students to learn that the role of a CPA is constantly growing to meet rapidly changing business needs.”

Participating high schools included Ben Davis University High School, Columbus North High School, Marion High School / Marion Regional Career Center, McKenzie Center for Innovation & Technology, North Central High School, Pike High School, Scottsburg High School, South Side High School, Southern Wells Jr.-Sr. High School, Washington High School, and Wawasee High School.

“The Indiana CPA Society’s CPA Week has truly brought the accounting profession to life for my students,” said Leslie Kotyuk, business education & AVID instructor at North Central High School. “The opportunity to hear from authentic professionals in their field is so valuable. The virtual classroom visits allowed the class to see beyond the textbook and visualize their future.” Schools interested in participating can go to incpas.org/CPAWeek to find on-demand videos or submit their interest in participating in the Fall 2021 CPA Week from November 8-12.

Experiences 2025 – AI Search

For now, Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that operate autonomously and can perceive, reason, plan, and take action in pursuit of goals. These AI agents can interact dynamically with their environment, adapt to changes, and sometimes make decisions without direct human intervention.
