Durran 15+ years of extensive experiences in assurance, advisory, accounting and finance; specifically, in external and internal audits, risk and regulatory compliance, SEC financial reporting, and corporate accounting has been a series of small successes that has resulted in a few career highlights that includes:

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
I am passionate about the profession and investing in community outreach programs. I represent the AICPA through the “Real CPA” program by inspiring minorities and others to pursue the field of Accounting as a profession. I serve as a National Board Director of NABA, Inc. and where I am the Audit Committee Chair. Contributions to NABA is dedicated to bridging the opportunity gap for black accounting and finance professionals. I also serve as a board member of The R.I.S.E. Schools in East Point, GA which are free public charter schools committed to preparing scholars for success in college and beyond.
