LBMC Announces New Executive Leaders
LBMC recently announced the appointment of Janice Sansing and Justin W. Follis as executive leaders as it continues its efforts to bolster strategic initiatives centered around client service and company growth.

Sansing also brings a team of six staff members to expand LBMC’s Healthcare expertise. She has more than 30 years of tax compliance and planning experience working with physicians and physician practices. Sansing assists clients with personal tax planning, income allocation in group settings and group mergers and sales.

Follis’ expertise includes resolving complex tax issues for global private equity groups, private equity-backed portfolio companies and publicly-traded corporations. He received his Masters of Accounting at the University of Texas.

BerryDunn Names Leader of Commercial Practice 
BerryDunn recently named Mike Jurnak, CPA as the new Practice Leader of the firm’s Commercial Business Practice Group. Jurnak specializes in financial reporting, financial analysis and benchmarking, merger and acquisition structuring, internal controls and systems development, strategic planning and accounting services for private commercial companies.

Rehmann Principal Honored with 2016 Heidi Bolger Award 
Rehmann recently announced that Fred Schaard, CFP® was named the recipient of the 2016 Heidi Bolger Award. Rehmann’s Women’s Initiative Network Council gives the award to an associate who has gone above and beyond in their support of women’s career advocacy in the firm. Schaard, a partner in the firm, has been long supported Rehmann’s women’s career advocacy efforts and has been influential in both the WIN Council and developing meaningful mentoring relationships with associates. He has also helped to continuously foster an environment conducive to women’s success in the community. Schaard also volunteers as a leader with Sparrow Foundation’s Women Working Wonders.

Xero Appoints New Head of Bookkeeping in New Zealand
Xero recently announced the appointment of Melanie Morris as Xero’s Head of Bookkeeping in New Zealand. Morris was Xero’s first Xero Bookkeeping Gold Partner globally and has been instrumental in Xero’s growth and development since the beginning. She is an active member of the New Zealand Advisory Council and Global Advisory Council, as well as the founding President of the New Zealand Bookkeepers Association.
