Anchin, Block & Anchin, a New York accounting, tax and business management consulting practice, has been named as one of the Best Places to Work for in New York State.

The New York State Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Best Companies Group, an independent company managing Best Places to Work programs in states around the country, launched the program in New York in 2007.

Companies from across the state participated in a process to identify, recognize and honor the best places to work in New York State. The first part of the process consisted of an evaluation of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee satisfaction. Best Companies managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process and determined the final rankings.

This is the fifth time Anchin has been named to the list of the Best Places to Work for in the state. Anchin was commended by its commitment to its staff, which is reflected in low turnover, and is an integral component in retaining top talent.

The full-service firm, with a staff of 350, serves privately-held businesses and high net worth individuals with a wide range of traditional and non-traditional advisory services, including financial statement preparation; tax planning and compliance services; tax credits and incentives; management and succession advisory services; litigation support, forensic accounting and valuation services; merger and acquisition services; and wealth management.
