The Professional Development Center at the University of Texas at Austin recently announced it will offer a new CPA exam review course starting in January 2013 at the McCombs School of Business. The review course is designed to help students enrolled in the school’s Master in Professional Accounting program pass the CPA exam.

“I am delighted to work with my university colleagues at the McCombs School of Business to offer this excellent CPA exam review to their students,” said Liliya Spinazzola, director of the Professional Development Center. “I am confident that the students will find this innovative and highly interactive course truly beneficial in meeting both their academic and career objectives.”

The 16-week review course will only be offered to current McCombs students. However, additional courses will be opened to the public starting the Fall 2013 semester. The course uses the Becker Professional Education CPA review system and will cover four areas: Financial, Audit, Regulation and Business.
