CPA2Biz has announced the opening of a Dexter, Michigan, branch office. The marketing firm, which is a for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is headquartered in New York and also has offices in Santa Clara, California, and Durham, North Carolina.
The company’s primary focus is on providing information to CPAs, including publications, webcasts virtual conferences and CPE, and partnering with cloud-based softwaredevelopers.
“I think Dexter is a great place to grow our business,” said CEO Erik Asgeirsson. “We support 45,000 accounting firms across the United States, and Dexter is centrally located to be able to service the east, west and southern regions of the country.”
David Pollak, who recently joined as vice president of sales, is a longtime Dexter resident and will be running the office, which opened April 16 and has a staff of 10. The company hopes to double that number within 18 months. The office is located at 8031 Main Street in Dexter, with a local phone number of 734-604-5784.
