David Naser, Director in Smart Devine’s Governance, Risk and Compliance Practice
Smart Devine & Company, LLC hired David Naser as a director in its Business Advisory – Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Practice. In this position, Naser will be responsible for growing and delivering internal audit and risk management services for the Philadelphia-based firm as it continues to expand this practice.
For more than 30 years, Naser has held senior level roles in corporate governance, compliance, internal audit, Sarbanes Oxley and other areas, working in various industries. Naser received his BS degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his MS in Administration from Central Michigan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and a board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of Institute of Internal Auditors, among other accomplishments.
Jim Mack, Head of EisnerAmper LLP’s Insurance Practice
EisnerAmper LLP hired James (Jim) Mack to lead its Insurance Industry Practice, which provides services to more than 125 property & casualty, life and healthcare insurance clients. Mack also leads the firm’s Consulting Services Group.
Mack, with over 25 years of experience, has worked in diverse insurance, financial services, and life science companies. His experience includes start-up businesses, Fortune 50 companies, as well as private, public and alternative ownership structures.
TSCPA’s 2012 Rising Stars
The Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants recently recognized 12 professionals as their 2012 Rising Stars. This honor is awarded to CPAs younger than 40 years old who have shown innovation and leadership within their profession and community.
