Global business software provider Zoho announced earlier this week that Zoho POS, the company’s retail point-of-sale software, is available in the U.S., targeting independent retailers and multi-location businesses seeking an alternative to legacy POS systems.

For retail businesses, Zoho POS is a completely customizable POS software for managing all store operations without sacrificing ease of use, the company says. Features include advanced inventory management, price management, multi-outlet and warehouse management, and intuitive retail analytics.

The platform also allows businesses to connect to billing peripherals, such as barcode scanners, cash drawers, customer-facing displays, weighing machines, and pole displays, providing greater flexibility in hardware selection and helping businesses avoid dependence on a single vendor ecosystem, Zoho says.

Additional highlights from Zoho POS include:

  • Tight integrations within the Zoho ecosystem: Connect POS to different Zoho apps to manage other aspects of a business like Zoho Books for accounting, Zoho Commerce for ecommerce, and more. POS also integrates with online payment gateways, shipping services, and other third-party applications.
  • Tax compliance: Zoho POS complies with U.S. tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Multilingual billing interfaces: The platform supports more than 10 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and more.
  • Multi-device support: Zoho POS’s billing application works across multiple devices, including mobile phones and tablets, allowing businesses to operate from anywhere.
  • Multi-store management: Managers and owners can track and handle operations for store locations across states.
  • Essential cashier controls: With cash-in, cash-out, and session reporting, along with built-in capabilities for customer loyalty programs (early access) and promotions (early access), businesses can create strategies to win and retain customers.
  • Connect to payment providers: The platform connects to payment providers such as Worldpay (early access) and Everyware, with a growing ecosystem of payment integrations, giving businesses the flexibility to choose the payment partner that best fits their needs.
  • Self-checkout support: With self-checkout kiosks (early access), customers can complete purchases independently and skip checkout queues.
  • AI-powered capabilities: Zoho MCP and Zia agents enable businesses to monitor inventory, automate workflows, and perform retail operations through natural-language conversations.
  • Flexible deployment and terms: Zoho POS provides flexibility with deployment, running on multiple devices without long-term contractual commitments.

Zoho POS for the U.S. is available today with a price starting at $15 per month (billed annually). A 15-day free trial is also available for users to explore the product hands-on before purchasing.

Zoho says early access features can be enabled for your account by contacting the Zoho POS support team.
