Allen Stahl has emerged as a leading voice at the intersection of accounting and emerging technology. As a Senior Director at Thomson Reuters, he leads teams that help tax and accounting firms modernize through automation and innovative solution design. The AI Coalition, which he established at Thomson Reuters in 2024, continues to be a strategic alliance that brings together leaders from top accounting firms to help shape the responsible adoption of AI across the profession.
He further strengthened his executive leadership capabilities by completing the MIT Elevate Executive Leadership Program, bringing advanced insight on leadership in the age of AI back to his organization and clients. Allen has also contributed to broader industry dialogue through thought leadership, including a Thomson Reuters Institute podcast appearance with Allan Koltin on Alternative Practice Structures, one of the profession’s most transformative and timely topics.
What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Allen is committed to community impact through his service on the Albion Community Foundation Grants Committee. In this role, he helps oversee the thoughtful distribution of more than $100,000 annually in scholarships and grants supporting a wide range of community organizations across Michigan. Drawing on his background in finance, technology, and leadership, he helps ensure resources are allocated responsibly and effectively to initiatives that create meaningful local impact.
