Koltin Consulting Group, a leading strategic advisory firm serving the accounting and financial services professions, announced Thursday the appointment of Brian Koltin as chief corporate development officer, along with key leadership promotions that reflect the firm’s continued growth and expanding client engagements.
Koltin joins the firm at a time when evolving market dynamics are creating new strategic opportunities across the profession. KCG has experienced significant growth, expanding its advisory work with CPA firms ranging from $2 million to $2 billion in revenue as leadership teams continue to seek guidance on strategic growth, succession planning, and related practice management issues.
Koltin began his career in the Transaction Advisory Services group at top five accounting firm RSM US, where he performed buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity firms and strategic buyers.
His expertise includes quality of earnings analysis, net working capital assessments, and other financial diligence work supporting acquisitions and strategic transactions.
He earned his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is also a CPA.

“Brian brings a strong combination of transaction experience, analytical insight, and industry perspective,” Allan D. Koltin, CEO of Koltin Consulting Group, said in a statement. “As demand continues to grow for strategic advisory and M&A guidance across professional and financial services, Brian will play an important role in supporting our clients and the continued growth of our firm.”
“I’m excited to join Koltin Consulting Group at such a dynamic time for the profession,” Brian Koltin said in a statement. “I look forward to working with firm leaders as they evaluate strategic growth opportunities and navigate an increasingly complex marketplace.”
