Hood & Strong LLP Adds Trust and Estates Expert to Growing Tax Practice

Hood & Strong LLP, with offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Sonoma County,  recently added another expert to its growing tax practice, welcoming Anahi Masihi, CPA, MST, as aTax Manager specializing in trusts and estates. With more than a decade of experience in public accounting, Masihi brings expertise in individual and entity tax compliance, strategic wealth and succession planning, and multi-generational estate strategies to her role.

Before joining Hood & Strong, Masihi served as a Senior Tax Manager at Moss Adams, LLP, where she specialized in advising high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and corporate executives on complex tax matters. Her experience includes tax planning for trusts, estates, gifts, and cross-border transactions, as well as leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. She began her public accounting career as a Tax and Accounting Manager at Just, Gurr & Associates in Campbell, CA.

In addition to her tax expertise, Masihi has been recognized for mentoring emerging professionals and leading internal training programs focused on tax technology, process improvements, and continuous learning. She holds a B.A. in Accounting from Santa Clara University and a Master’s in Taxation from San Jose State University.
