The Bonadio Group, an IPA Top 50 CPA Firm, is today holding its 8th Annual Purpose Day in support of more than 35 community organizations within the firm’s major regions across the country. Each of the firm’s offices will be closed for the day, enabling employees to donate their time to non-profit organizations in the communities where they live and work.
Volunteer duties will include outdoor landscaping, indoor clean-up, meal preparation and distribution, organization of donated items, and resident engagement at assisted living facilities. Organizations The Bonadio Group is supporting include:
- Capital Region: Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Animal Protective Foundation, Unity House of Troy, Capital Roots, CEO, St. Catherine’s, USS Slater, Regional Food Bank and Rutland Community Cupboard
- Central New York Region: Ronald McDonald House, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, McHarrie Pointe Assisted Living, Sarah’s Guest House, PEACE and Community Wellness Partners
- Dallas: Ability Connection Texas, Good Samaritans of Garland and Meals on Wheels
- Mid-Atlantic Region: Claymont Community Center
- New York City: Children of Bellevue and River Fund
- Rochester: Seneca Park Zoo, Foodlink Farm, St. Ann’s Community, School of the Holy Childhood, Ronald McDonald House, Veterans Outreach, Lifetime Assistance, Hochstein School and Heritage Christian Services
- Western New York Region: Brothers of Mercy, Community Services for Every1, Danny’s Helping Hands, Gateway-Longview, Knox Farm, Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, St. Luke’s Church Soup Kitchen, Ten Lives Club, Tift Nature Preserve and United Way.
Fully remote employees, including those who live outside of the U.S., have several options to participate such as providing a monetary donation to help End Elder Fraud, donating blood or volunteering at a non-profit of their choosing.
