Meridian, ID-based accounting firm Sorren said last week that it has added Raleigh, NC-based CPA firm Williams Overman Pierce to its growing network, according to INSIDE Public Accounting.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Last spring, 13 accounting firms from across the U.S. combined to form Sorren, which is backed by DFW Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm that partners with business owners and management teams to drive growth and build middle-market companies.
Sorren is comprised of more than 1,000 U.S. professionals, across 20 offices nationwide. In addition to expanding services within their own client base, Sorren has also expanded its presence in India, the Philippines, and St. Lucia.
The firm says it offers strategic solutions to its clients in tax, assurance, client accounting services, and advisory.

You can now add Williams Overman Pierce, an INSIDE Public Accounting top 400 firm, to Sorren’s roster. Founded in 1971 and a member of BDO Alliance, Williams Overman Pierce provides clients with tax, audit, and advisory services within industries that include construction and real estate, healthcare, nonprofits, government, automotive, restaurants, and privately held and family-owned businesses.
