Inkle, an AI-powered CPA and bookkeeping firm, has completed its first acquisition—the bookkeeping division of Finally, a financial operations platform for small businesses.
The transaction was structured as an asset purchase and is an all-cash transaction. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
As part of the deal, approximately 100 Finally team members in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Miami, Boca Raton, FL, and New York joined Inkle.
Finally’s bookkeeping clients will continue to work with the same bookkeeping teams, now operating on Inkle’s platform, officials say.

Inkle CEO Anand Krishna, who co-founded the firm in 2022 with Ranvir Singh, who is chief technology officer, said in a statement on Wednesday, “Finally’s team built a great bookkeeping business serving thousands of U.S. companies, and we’re proud to welcome them to Inkle. We’re building the AI-powered Big Four: a CPA firm where frontier AI and experienced professionals deliver the outcome, not just the software. Small businesses don’t want another subscription. They want their books, taxes, and compliance done right, on whatever platform they already use. We’ve reached profitability on a $1.5 million pre-seed round because we run Inkle with the same financial discipline we help our customers build. We’re here for the long run.”
Inkle says the acquisition significantly strengthens its brand, gives it 24-hour global coverage across its delivery teams in the Americas and Asia, and deepens its entry into the non-tech segment of U.S. small businesses, including owner-operators, professional services firms, contractors, clinics, and restaurants.
In addition, the acquisition is part of Inkle’s strategy to expand its U.S. small business customer base and combine AI-enabled accounting technology with experienced service teams, the firm says.
Inkle builds its own software, including Inkle Books, its general ledger, with an in-house engineering team, and deploys frontier AI across bookkeeping, tax, and compliance work.
Inkle serves customers on multiple general ledgers, including Inkle Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, and Mercury Books.
