The tax research and advisory platform Bizora has announced an integration with Truss, the tax workflow platform for accounting firms. Through the integration, firms using Truss can access Bizora’s tax research directly within Max AI, Truss’s AI assistant, without leaving their workflow and with no separate Bizora subscription required.
Tax research has traditionally lived apart from the rest of the engagement. Preparers and reviewers move between systems to confirm a position, verify authority, and document their conclusions. By bringing Bizora into the Truss environment, firms can get cited answers across federal tax and all 50 states in the same place they manage client work, with sources they can open and verify.
“We evaluated several players in the space. Bizora moved the fastest and provided the best depth and quality in any potential integration.” said Dan Pinkous, CEO of Truss. “We’ve already heard from firms that Max AI’s capabilities have allowed entire teams to do more sophisticated research, and that’s one of our priorities for every firm we serve.”
“Tax professionals shouldn’t have to leave their work to find the answer, and they shouldn’t have to take an answer on faith,” said Adam Tahir, CPA, founder and CEO of Bizora. “Our goal is to put rigorous, cited research wherever practitioners already are. Making Bizora available inside Truss is a natural step toward that.”
The integration adds to the growing number of ways firms access Bizora, including its web app, API, and MCP server.
