HARTFORD — A Connecticut-based OnlyFans model accused of failing to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income pleaded guilty to a single count of tax evasion Tuesday, federal prosecutors said.
Seathra Zmeena Orr, 39, of Stamford, entered the plea in Hartford federal court after waiving her right to be indicted, according to U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut David X. Sullivan.
Sullivan said Orr owes more than $1.1 million in back taxes to the IRS and has agreed to pay at least $476,970 in restitution. He said the final restitution order will be determined by a federal judge.
“This prosecution should serve as a warning that no matter how or where you earn your money, you are not absolved from paying taxes on it,” Sullivan said. “Any attempt to intentionally hide earnings and evade the payment of taxes will lead to serious criminal consequences.”
Sullivan said Orr earned more than $3 million in income from posting content on the subscription-based website OnlyFans from 2019 to 2022, but willfully failed to pay any taxes for those years.
He said she also took steps to evade paying taxes, including using multiple business names, opening 11 “business” bank accounts and eight “personal” bank accounts, and moving money between them without a legitimate purpose.
During the same period, Orr spent at least $1.3 million on personal expenditures such as paying rent for her apartment, purchasing luxury vehicles and buying more than $110,000 in jewelry, Sullivan said.
Orr has been released from custody on a $100,000 bond pending a yet-to-be-scheduled sentencing hearing. He said she faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
