Koltin Consulting Group, a Chicago-based advisory firm serving accounting and financial services firms on M&A strategy, private equity transactions, and broader strategic initiatives, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
KCG ranked No. 2,117, based on revenue growth over the past three years.
The Inc. 5000 is one of the most closely watched measures of entrepreneurial success in the country, ranking companies by percentage revenue growth. KCG’s inclusion comes as the accounting profession moves through a period of unprecedented consolidation, private equity investment, and generational transition—the exact conditions the firm was built to help clients navigate.
“I am incredibly grateful and honored by this recognition,” Allan Koltin, founder of Koltin Consulting Group, said in a statement. “It’s not about me—it’s a reflection of the trust our clients have placed in us and the extraordinary work of the KCG team. Every deal, every strategic conversation, every relationship we’ve built has been a team effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together.”
“Allan has always been known in the profession for how hard he works and his dedication to the profession,” added Lisa Benson, chief growth officer at KCG, in a statement. “But seeing it up close, it has been astonishing how much he does—the calls, the travel, the keynote presentations, and the way he helps firms navigate the unprecedented transformation and change happening in the profession right now. None of this happens without Donna Cox, our COO, and Angela Bruks, our Chief of Staff, keeping the machine running every single day, and Brian Koltin, our Chief Corporate Growth Officer, working hand-in-hand with clients to get their financials market ready. They are the reason we can grow at this pace without missing a beat for our clients.”

(Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2022 is $100,000; the minimum for 2025 is $2 million. Inc. says it reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
