Eugene, OR-based accounting firm Kernutt Stokes is joining forces with Fordham & Co., a Hillsboro, OR-based accounting firm serving businesses and individuals throughout the Portland metro area.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Effective July 1, Fordham & Co. will join Kernutt Stokes and operate as one firm under the Kernutt Stokes name.
The combination expands Kernutt Stokes’ presence in the Portland market. With the integration of the Hillsboro office, Kernutt Stokes now has five offices across Oregon and a team of more than 110 employees, including 14 partners.

Fordham & Co. was founded more than 70 years ago and has served generations of businesses and families in the Hillsboro community and throughout the greater Portland and Vancouver, WA, area.
Partners Katie Eyre and Blair Walker will join the Kernutt Stokes partner group.

Kernutt Stokes, which is an INSIDE Public Accounting top 300 accounting firm, opened its Lake Oswego office in 2025 as part of its continued growth in the Portland market.
Kernutt Stokes began in Eugene, OR, in 1945 as Piquet & Minihan, later becoming Minihan, Kernutt, Stokes & Co. and then Kernutt Stokes Brandt & Co. The company grew in the 1990s through the merger of two other firms into KSB. In 2010, the firm rebranded to Kernutt Stokes and moved to its current office in Eugene. The firm expanded into Corvallis and Bend, OR, in 2018 following the acquisition of Spectrum CPA Group. The current offices in Corvallis and Bend opened in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
