TaxPlanIQ, a tax planning and advisory platform serving accounting firms across the U.S., said enrollment is open for the third quarterly cohort of its Certified Concierge TaxPlanIQ Advisor (CCTA) program.

The five-day intensive program runs June 1 to 5, 2026, and, according to TaxPlanIQ, remains the only certification offered by a tax planning software provider. The CCTA program addresses a gap that no competing platform has filled, the company added.

“Anyone can learn to use software, but what separates a successful tax planning advisor from one who struggles is the details of the plan itself: how to think about strategy selection, price, and package the offering, deliver and sell the work, and handle objections along the way. In short, CCTA is built around exactly these skills,” TaxPlanIQ said in a media release.

Since launching in October 2025, the program has run quarterly in response to sustained customer demand, with each cohort filling out from the existing TaxPlanIQ user base.

“Our customers came to us hungry for this knowledge. Tax planning as a true advisory discipline isn’t something most accountants are taught, and they wanted a place to build that expertise from the ground up,” Dave Lukas, CEO of TaxPlanIQ, said in a statement. “CCTA was built to meet that demand. The fact that we’re now running it every quarter tells us the appetite for advisory transformation is only growing.”

The five-day curriculum covers detailed sessions on mindset and identity, client selection, plan building, top strategies for high-income W-2 earners, business owners, and real estate investors, TaxPlanIQ’s proprietary ROI Method for pricing advisory engagements, and live role-plays on pitching, objection handling, and closing.

Participants must also submit proof of work against defined criteria to earn the credential. Graduates earn the CCTA badge for use across their websites and marketing materials, plus placement in TaxPlanIQ’s public directory of certified advisors.

The June cohort marks the third quarterly session of CCTA, with additional cohorts planned throughout 2026. The program is complimentary to all TaxPlanIQ users.
