Top 25 accounting firm Sikich has acquired Milwaukee-based consultancy Jefferson Wells U.S. from global workforce solutions company ManpowerGroup in a deal valued at $100 million.
The transaction closed on April 30. Milwaukee-based ManpowerGroup will receive net cash proceeds at closing of approximately $88 million after working capital and other items. The company said in a media release that it plans to use transaction proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet as it continues to invest for sustainable long-term growth.
Chicago-based Sikich gains more than 300 employees as a result of the Jefferson Wells acquisition.
This is Sikich’s second M&A deal this year. The firm bought Oak Brook, IL-based Burwood Group, an IT consulting and integration firm, in early April.
Sikich secured a $250 million minority investment from private equity firm Bain Capital in May 2024 to support its aggressive growth strategy, focused on acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
