President Donald Trump had several awkward moments with a DoorDash worker on Monday after he ordered McDonald’s for the White House to trumpet his “no tax on tips” policy.

“It’s such an honor to meet you. And I think you voted for me. You think?” Trump asked “DoorDash Grandma” Sharon Simmons, whom the White House used to highlight the president’s policy.

“Uh, maybe?” Simmons, an Arkansas resident who saved $11,000 from the president’s policy, replied with a laugh as they stood outside the doors of the Oval Office.

“I heard you’re a great supporter, and we appreciate it,” Trump said, shaking her hand as his other held the bags of McDonald’s.

The president then dropped the bags and took questions from reporters while the Doordasher stood awkwardly by Trump.

“You don’t have to say too much, I think,” Trump said in an attempt to put her at ease.

The reporters, Trump said, want to know “about the Hormuz Strait and various other things.”

Simmons later told Fox News the president’s tax policy helped her save money to put toward her husband’s cancer treatments.

“When I found out about no tax on tips, I was like, ‘this is incredible because … it’s going to help certainly with future doctor’s appointments and future things we have going on,” she said. “It just means a lot.”

During the press gaggle, Trump mentioned his opposition to biological men playing in women’s sports.

He then asked Simmons her to weigh in.

“I really don’t have an opinion on that. I’m here about no tax on tips,” she said.
