Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting, the arm of Thomson Reuters that is one of the world’s largest technology solution providers to accounting, tax and audit professionals, has changed its name to reflect the numerous audit-focused systems the company offers.

The brand is now called Thomson Reuters Tax, Audit & Accounting. Elizabeth Beastrom, president of the business unit, said that the rebranding is “a commitment to a profession navigating unprecedented change. Audit teams face a critical challenge: how do you move faster without compromising quality, documentation, and methodology? The answer isn’t working harder. It’s working smarter with better systems.”

The technology provider’s audit systems include:

  • CoCounsel Audit – AI-powered document analysis and workspace management
  • Audit Intelligence Analyze – Automated transaction analysis and risk identification
  • Audit Intelligence Test – Streamlined testing with automated evidence matching
  • Open Ecosystem – Strategic partnerships with Trullion, Audit Sight, Crunchafi, and Fieldguide
Elizabeth Beastrom

“By explicitly calling out Audit, we’re recognizing and serving customers whose needs go well beyond tax compliance. We’re reinforcing our commitment to building audit-specific products, workflows, and expertise that help firms modernize,” Beastrom added.
