Top 60 accounting firm Grassi announced Thursday the acquisition of OnePoint Franchise Accounting, a move that expands the reach of Grassi Franchise Services and adds a significant roster of restaurant and food franchise clients.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
With the addition of the OnePoint team, Grassi Franchise Services now includes more than 100 professionals. Grassi Franchise Services has provided advisory, tax, and accounting services to U.S. franchises for more than 25 years. As a full-service CPA and business advisory firm, Grassi Franchise Services specializes in the financial structures, reporting standards, and operational needs unique to franchise businesses, including franchise selection, tax planning, monthly reporting, and exit strategies.
Two partners join Grassi Franchise Services: Laura Wright as franchise business development leader and Diana Mead, who will serve as co-president of Grassi Franchise Services alongside James Bohl. Wright and Mead were co-managing partners at OnePoint.

“This integration advances our strategy to meet clients wherever they operate, with the specialized knowledge they rely on to run and grow their businesses,” Louis Grassi, CEO, founder, and managing partner of Grassi, said in a statement. “Together, we are expanding the tools and talent behind every engagement, strengthening the service quality and technical excellence for which both firms are known.”
Founded in 1998, Denver-based OnePoint provides accounting services to franchisees, franchisors, multiunit restaurant groups, and other business owners across the sector.
Grassi said this addition enhances Grassi Franchise Services’ existing offerings with the ability to service a broader range of ownership models across the industry, including large franchise rollups and private equity-sponsored groups. It also establishes Grassi’s presence in the Mountain West region, expanding the firm’s geographic footprint.
“Joining Grassi is an exciting opportunity to expand our impact, deepen our capabilities, and deliver with greater scale and speed for our clients,” Mead said. “The firm’s industry-focused approach strengthens our commitment to highly personalized service and deep sector expertise. We are proud to join a firm that shares these values and to be part of that mission.”
Grassi’s last M&A deal was earlier this year when it merged in Anstiss & Co., a CPA firm located in Chelmsford, MA.
