Virginia
The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) is pleased to announce its officers and Board of Directors for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The officers and directors were sworn in May 8 during the VSCPA annual business meeting in Richmond, Va.
Krystal McCants, CPA, of Yount, Hyde & Barbour, PC, in Falls Church, is chair of the Board. Andrew Martin, CPA, of Corbin & Company, PC, in Chesapeake, is chair-elect.
- The following VSCPA members were named vice chairs: Courtney Arrington, CPA, of Arrington Solutions in Richmond; Scott Davis, CPA, of Prager Metis CPAs in Tysons; Nicholas Harrison, CPA, of KPMG in Richmond; and Jamil White, CPA, of WindHQ and Dalian Development in Washington, D.C.

Tennessee
The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) has opened registration for its annual conference addressing the nonprofit sector of accounting and auditing, the Not-for-Profit Conference.
Offered in a convenient virtual format, this year’s conference will provide attendees with the latest from FASB as well as strategies on dealing with single audits and SEFA, risk assessment, cybersecurity, AI, and more. In addition to the virtual option, the conference will also be offered on demand to accommodate more participants.
The TSCPA Not-for-Profit Conference will take place on Aug. 18. To register for the conference, visit the conference page on the TSCPA website.
Arizona
The Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA) has opened registration for its annual Converge Conference. The 2-Day conference will take place on October 20-21, 2025 at Venue 8600 in Scottsdale. The member price is $500 with a non-member price of $600, with single-day pricing available. Check out the ASCPA website conference page for more details and to register for the event.
Minnesota
The Minnesota Society of CPAS (MNCPA) recently announced its 2025-2026 board of directors, including Eric O’Link, CPA, as the organization’s 2025-26 board chair.
O’Link is the controller for Anderson Dahlen, Inc., and has experience in both industry and public accounting. Prior to assuming leadership of the board, O’Link also served as a longtime member of the MNCPA’s Controller Forum and served on the SALT Conference Planning Task Force. In particular, he is looking forward to addressing key issues impacting the profession, like networking and engagement across industries and challenges with the pipeline.
These MNCPA board officers also assumed leadership at the board meeting:

- Treasurer: David Brauer, CPA, EisnerAmper.

Oregon
The Oregon Society of CPAs (OSCPA) recently held the OSCPA 2025 Strategic Leadership Forum and Annual Meeting on May 6–7. Against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean, OSCPA leaders, members, and guests gathered for inspiration, insight, and connection.
Tuesday opened with remarks from 2025–26 Board Chair Gary Holcomb, Executive Director at Ernst & Young LLP. The morning featured an impactful National Accounting Profession Update by Carla McCall, Chair of the AICPA and Co-Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. The rest of the day was devoted to leadership development with an intensive workshop led by Jennifer Wilson of ConvergenceCoaching, LLC.
Wednesday began with Doug Westervelt, CEO of Internetworks, who presented Threats & Triumphs: Harnessing Technology in 2025 and Beyond. Next, outgoing Board Chair John Hawkins reflected on the accomplishments of the past year in his 2024–25 OSCPA Year in Review. The morning closed with an overview of OSCPA legislative and advocacy activity by OSCPA Legislative Counsel Nicole Palmateer Hazelbaker and OSCPA leaders Selene Sullivan, Adam Abplanalp, and Jason Orme.
OSCPA President/CEO Sherri McPherson shared organizational updates before Gary Holcomb concluded the program by underscoring the momentum and opportunities ahead for the CPA profession.
