Financial Accounting Foundation Issues Annual Report 

The report also includes perspectives from Financial Accounting Foundation leaders, who provide the oversight and accountability that are fundamental to the standard-setting process.

The Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) has released its latest Annual Report on its website. The report is available as a downloadable PDF file and as a digital version on the FAF website.

The annual report, “Standards That Work, Stakeholder Engagement,” provides an overview of the organization’s activities throughout 2024.  It showcases how the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) engage with multiple stakeholder groups to create and improve Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The report also includes perspectives from Financial Accounting Foundation leaders, who provide the oversight and accountability that are fundamental to the standard-setting process.

The 2024 Annual Report includes:

  • Letters from FAF, FASB, and GASB leaders
  • Snapshots of how our teams keep stakeholder engagement at the core of all our activities
  • Highlights of 2024 FASB and GASB standards and Exposure Drafts
  • An update on the organization’s strategic plan it released in 2022
  • Complete 2024 management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A) and audited financial statements.
