Joe Vandermark Joins Schneider Downs as IT Risk Advisory Shareholder

Schneider Downs, one of the 60 largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the United States, recently announced that Joe Vandermark, CISA, CIPP/IT, has joined the firm as IT Risk Advisory Shareholder in its Columbus office. He will officially join the firm on January 27, 2025.

Mr. Vandermark joins Schneider Downs from the Columbus office of a national firm, where he served as Risk Consulting Leader. He brings more than 25 years of experience guiding clients through the design and implementation of business transformation initiatives in a broad spectrum of areas, including cybersecurity, emerging technologies, internal audit & controls, business process improvement, and third-party risk advisory. In addition to delivering on this expertise at Schneider Downs, he will also serve in the role of Consulting Services Columbus Market Growth Leader for Consulting Services at the firm.

CLA Names Scott Engelbrecht as Chief Development Officer Long-time CLA Leader to Head Up Strategic Expansion Efforts

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), an industry-focused wealth advisory, digital, audit, tax, consulting, and outsourcing services firm, recently announced the appointment of Scott Engelbrecht to be the firm’s first Chief Development Officer. Engelbrecht, who has been an integral part of CLA for more than 30 years, brings his extensive experience and leadership to this newly created role, effective immediately.

Engelbrecht has been serving as CLA’s Chief Geographic Officer, where he has successfully overseen the firm’s rapid growth in both the U.S. and in the CLA Global expansion. Collins joins CohnReznick as Florida State and Local Government Advisory Lead

CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, recently announced that Meghan Collins has joined CohnReznick’s Government and Public Sector Advisory practice to lead its Florida state and local government initiatives. Collins’s 15-year public service career spans Florida and Louisiana. After earning her degree from Louisiana State University in 2009, she joined the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
