AI-powered accounting platform Digits has launched AI Invoicing, a solution that gives founders and small business owners control over both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Key features of AI Invoicing include:
- Fully automated invoicing: AI Invoicing generates invoices in seconds, pulling in customer details, pricing, and payment terms with minimal input from business owners.
- Automated accounting: AI Invoicing integrates directly into users’ Digits accounting for a fully streamlined experience.
- Real-time payment tracking: Business owners can keep tabs on their incoming payments and know exactly when invoices are viewed, paid, or overdue with smart tracking and automated follow-ups.
- Brand customization: Startups and small businesses can personalize invoices with their logo, branding, and custom fields, ensuring a professional look and feel.
- Smart reminders and follow-ups: AI Invoicing automatically sends gentle reminders about unpaid invoices and escalates follow-ups when needed, improving cash flow.
“Our team has absolutely crushed it over the past year, delivering a delightful, automated, and most importantly drop-dead-simple way for startups and small businesses to send out invoices,” Digits CEO Jeff Seibert wrote in a post on LinkedIn about AI Invoicing.
AI Invoicing is a counterpart to Digits Bill Pay, which was introduced last year. Bill Pay is an AI-powered solution that fully understands invoice document structure, the company said last April. The software uses layout-aware language models enabling business owners to manage their accounts payable workflows.
“Soon, we’re taking invoice generation to the next level,” Seibert wrote in a blog post. “We’re training our layout-aware models to read contracts, extract key details, and automatically generate invoices for your review. Imagine getting a contract signed and having an invoice ready to send instantly, with zero manual input!”
