MS Consultants (MSC), a national leading provider of cost segregation and energy efficiency studies, is excited to announce the official acquisition of Tax Credit Hero, a secure, cloud-based computing platform that provides CPAs, tax consultants, and businesses conducting research and development (R&D) in the United States a cost effective solution to conduct R&D tax credit studies.

The Tax Credit Hero platform easily connects customers with automated solutions that work to amass specialty R&D tax credits and incentives to provide cost savings for businesses.

Tax Credit Hero was established in 2021 by Stephen Tsai, Jason Mollner, Les Bryson and Jon Tvrdik. The group’s extensive experience in tax consulting, R&D, and technology allowed them to observe a common pain point and potential opportunity for improvement in the tax credits and incentives space.

“Every year, billions of dollars are left unclaimed by taxpayers that clearly conduct R&D but do not or are reluctant to claim the R&D tax credit. That’s why I, along with my co-founders, created a product that CPAs, tax consultants and businesses of all sizes can access to conduct a cost-effective R&D tax credit study,” said Stephen Tsai, co-founder of Tax Credit Hero. “We look forward to continuing to innovate in partnership with MSC to seek new ways to automate additional tax services for the convenience of our clients.”

The acquisition of Tax Credit Hero aligns with MSC’s commitment to innovation in the tax credit space and will expand the company’s existing service offerings.

“Acquiring this cost-effective solution for quick and accurate identification and substantiation of eligible R&D tax credits will ensure our customers maximize their incentives every year without overpaying for services,” said Dave Fabian, Managing Director of MSC. “As we continue to seek ways to utilize technology to better serve our customers, we look forward to the ways that Tax Credit Hero will advance our capabilities, saving our customers significant time and money.”
