Zamp Introduces Z-Tax Solution For Accountants

Z-Tax enables accountants to seamlessly integrate a sales tax compliance solution into their own offerings, Zamp says.

End-to-end managed sales tax solution provider Zamp released a “white label” product called Z-Tax, enabling accountants to seamlessly integrate a sales tax compliance solution into their own offerings.

By using Z-Tax, accountants and bookkeepers can enhance client satisfaction and provide end-to-end financial support without the overhead costs, risks, or complexity of developing their own sales tax solution, Zamp said in a Sept. 5 media release. This allows accounting teams to focus on their core services.

The Zamp platform manages clients’ entire sales tax lifecycle, preventing them from potentially incurring up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket expenses, penalties, and fees annually.

Zamp’s support includes the following:

  • End-to-end managed sales tax solution: Zamp’s service handles everything including account setup and updates, nexus monitoring, registrations, product taxability mapping, calculation, reporting, filing, and handling tax notices. While other solutions are self-serve, Zamp enables clients to be hands-free so they can focus on growing their businesses.
  • Most precise calculations on the market: Zamp determines precise sales tax rates based on the exact physical location of a transaction, down to the rooftop. This guarantees precision levels close to 100%, compared to the industry average of approximately 80 to 85%.
  • Real-time updates: Changes to sales tax rates, jurisdiction boundaries, product taxability, filing requirements, and more are reflected immediately. With 70% of Zamp’s team having sales tax experience, including former state auditors and early employees of Stripe-acquired TaxJar, Zamp ensures the highest levels of accuracy and compliance. They conduct ongoing research on the 12,000-plus U.S.-based tax jurisdictions.
  • Automation: Zamp’s managed sales tax solution automates the filing, registration, and compliance processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Supports deep level of complexity: Zamp works with all online sellers no matter how complex their needs—whether a client is selling consumer products, healthcare supplements, digital services, or SaaS. The solution has a deep library of product tax codes in the U.S.

“We know that for accountants, maintaining trust with clients is the top priority,” Rohit Bhadange, co-founder and CEO of Zamp, said in a statement. “Accountants, accounting firms, and accounting startups can now manage sales tax in-house without additional costs, ensuring their clients receive the best possible service. Our partners rely on us to keep their clients satisfied with accurate sales tax calculations and government compliance.”

Zamp says it has more than 50 accounting partners, including top 25 firm Withum, AI bookkeeping software provider Zeni, and e-commerce accounting platform Finaloop.
