Career Highlights
Beginning my career in public accounting, I quickly transitioned to corporate accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), taking on progressive leadership roles across manufacturing, technology, and pharmaceutical industries. This year, I embraced a new challenge at The Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), starting as VP, Controller and advancing to VP of Finance and Controller within three months. In this role, I oversee both FP&A and accounting functions, happily supporting LIIF’s mission of mobilizing capital and partners to achieve opportunity, racial equity, and well-being for people and communities.

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
In 2023, I was featured twice in The Wall Street Journal and contributed articles to Accounting Today, the AFP blog, and Strategic Finance Magazine. I also spoke at several key industry events, including the AICPA Future of Finance Summit, the AFP 2023 conference, and the PACE Profits+ conference . Plus, I regularly engaged with over 22,000 followers on LinkedIn, focusing on practical aspects of working in the profession. These platforms enabled me to share my insights on empowering the human side of finance and accounting, contributing to the development of the next generation of industry leaders.
