Andrew Argue, CPA – 2022 “20 Under 40” Top Influencer

Andrew Argue is the CEO and co-founder of Corvee, an award winning software and solutions company serving tax and accounting firms. Under Andrew’s guidance and leadership, Corvee is changing the way accounting professionals do tax planning. He had a goal early on in his career to help tax and accounting firms make the transition from compliance to advisory services to help them increase revenue, profitability and efficiency, while providing the highest value to their clients. He has done this with Corvee and has been instrumental in defining what the future of tax planning looks like for the industry.

In 2020, the company launched a first-of-its-kind tax planning software to give accounting firms and tax professionals the ability to formulate a tax savings calculation, develop a proactive and strategic tax plan and be the trusted advisor clients need. 

Under his leadership, the team at Corvee is regularly releasing new tax strategies and growing the product to include additional features and services to help tax firms better serve their clients. In March of this year, Corvee announced the launch of state and local tax planning within the company’s award-winning tax planning product. With more than 1,500 strategies, firms now have the ability to quickly and easily analyze client tax scenarios at the federal as well as the state level for additional tax savings. This release also included an enhanced savings calculation at near tax preparation quality, as well as a customized tax planning questionnaire that provides 30-80% time savings for firm clients.

In addition, the company is regularly being recognized for the work the team is doing under Andrew’s guidance. Corvee was ranked #2998 on the 2021 Annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies with a three-year sales growth of 128%. Andrew has been named twice on Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting  – Ones to Watch list, and was named as a CPA Practice Advisor 20 under 40 Top Influencer in 2021. He has a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from University of Tampa. He also holds Series 7, Series 66 and Certified Public Accountant certifications.
