Jacki Jacox is a CPA and Director of Healthcare Consulting and Financial Advisory. She is an innovative thought leader with more than 12 years of experience at mid-sized and Big 4 public accounting firms, as well as a Fortune 500 company.

She collaborates with provider practices, hospitals and health systems, payers, and state agencies, providing growth-oriented insight on the strategic, operational, clinical, financial, and analytical elements that impact them most. For example, she leads and executes provider compensation fair market value and commercially reasonable risk assessments and opinions for hospitals and health systems, litigation support, provider relief fund single audits, and Management Services Organization formation.

Jacki graduated with high distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Minors in Economics and Communication studies. She also earned her Master of Professional Accountancy from UNL. During her collegiate career, she studied abroad at Oxford University in England with a focus on international economics and a UNL Pan Pacific Study Tour of Southeast Asia and Australia with a focus on global entrepreneurship.

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

As a Women@Mazars champion for the New York Office, Jacki continually seeks to inspire and advocate for women leaders in business.

She enjoys learning, problem solving, strategizing, and innovating. She recently took two concepts, physician compensation analysis and heatmap risk assessments, and combined them to create a visual provider compensation risk assessment process that enables organizational leaders to better visualize their provider compensation risks using heatmap methodology.

Jacki served as a member and co-chair of UNL’s School of Accountancy Junior Advisory Board from 2013 – 2019. In 2021, she was elected to the board of directors of the Omaha Academy of Ballet and currently serves as treasurer.
