Jeff W. Wilson II, CPA, PFS, CGMA, CFE, CDFA – 2022 “40 Under 40” Honoree

Jeff is a frequent presenter at workshops and seminars on small business, very passionate about helping minority-owned companies to learn and become certified 8a Minority-owned businesses under the small business administration. He was named 40 under 40 Black CPAs, a Maryland Association of CPAs board member, and a member of Intuit’s elite QuickBooks consultants.

He advocates for professional and other causes, such as financial literacy. His affinity for financial literacy led him to become an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) in 2013, authoring his initial financial literacy book: The Lies Our Parents Were Sold and Told Us. In 2013, selected to be a part of the AICPA’s 2013 Leadership Academy. Currently, he is a member of the AICPA Student Recruitment Committee, MACPA Task Force on Equality Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, and New Young Professionals Network (NYPN). He is also on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of CPAs.

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

• Jeff uses his CPA skills to serve as a financial literacy advocate and teacher of financial literacy for local Not-For-Profit organizations.
