Angie Monahan Joins KSM as Director in State & Local Tax Group

Katz, Sapper & Miller, a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Angie Monahan has joined the firm as a director in its State & Local Tax Group.

Alongside a team of multistate professionals, Monahan will educate the firm’s clients on the plethora of tax rules in all 50 states, helping them find tax efficiencies and reduce risk. She will also serve as an internal resource specializing in income tax.

Most recently serving as a senior manager of tax for Crowe – and, prior to that, working for Grant Thornton for seven years – Monahan brings a wealth of expertise in designing, managing, and implementing strategies to minimize income tax. She has also developed a deep specialization in sales sourcing methodologies.

Additionally, Monahan frequently represents clients in tax controversies, including presenting written and oral arguments to administrative boards of appeals and counseling during state and local audits. She is also experienced with tax due diligence procedures.

Monahan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Indiana University and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Schneider Downs Welcomes Ronald Frisch to the Firm’s Accounting

Schneider Downs, a top-60 certified public accounting and business advisory firm, announced that Ronald Frisch has joined the firm’s Columbus office as a manager in the accounting advisory services department. Mr. Frisch brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, management, budgeting, forecasting/planning, treasury, taxation and finance.

Previously, Mr. Frisch served as the Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of SANAOH America, Inc. where he was responsible for all financial planning, accounting and analysis for the $300 million, multi-location manufacturer of tubular products for the North American Automotive Industry.

Mr. Frisch received his Bachelor of Arts from Heidelberg College and Masters of Science from the University of Toledo.

Nathan Wechsler Announces New Promotion

A member of the Nathan Wechsler team since 2021, Sullivan began her career at the firm as a supervising senior. She specializes in providing a variety of accounting and compliance services to clients in the manufacturing and construction industries.
